If you are planning a fairy visit, this could occur either before or after the fairy comes, or take the place of a portion of the entertainment time, if you are planning one of the longer parties.
So how to do it?
You will need enough supplies of each type of item for each child. Think of some items that might suit the theme: a silk flower, butterfly, candy necklace, bracelet, fairy dust, crystal jewel, coloured stone, a toy fairy, mini frogs and dragonflies, or make up your own!
Give each child a card with a colour photo of each item on it, with its name and a check box that they can mark. Each child will need a pencil as well to mark the paper.
Make sure items are hidden around the house or garden, visible enough to be found, but secretive enough to make it a special surprise!
You could tell children that the fairies have hidden some special surprises around, and if they find them all, the fairies have a special gift for them.
Once each child has found every item, give them the gift, perhaps a crown or flower hair clip.
Happy Scavenger Hunting!
