Well, Elise worked and studied very hard, and the time came. She did it! And she got a wish. What did Elise wish for? A visit from a fairy. And not just any fairy – me! I had been to her birthday party a couple of years ago, and her mom said, “It was better than anything she’s ever done before.” I must say my fairy heart swelled up a bit with that.
So a date was set for a Fairy Visit. We planned for 1.5 hours, but I thought that would be too long – it was just the two of us, after all. Well, I ended up staying for three hours (on their request), and we had the best time!
Elise got extra-super-duper-fantastically-fancy face painting on her face and arms. We had fairy tea in special flowery tea cups, and cupcakes that her mom kindly provided. We invited many other fairies to come and join us, and we had conversations with them. They were hard for Elise to see, but she was delighted to connect with them all the same.
We played games, sang songs, and I even met the fairy that was looking after the family cat. His name is Gummer, and he was just as grumbly and stubborn as the cat was. Like familiar, like fairy, we say in Fairyland.
We flew all around Fairyland, and even met the fairy-in-residence living in the garden, who shared a special message with Elise.
We had so much fun, that here at In the Company of Fairies, we have decided to make it a regular offering! Yay! Have a look for our Fairy Visit on the Parties page.
Wishing you a Magical Day!
