You probably have noticed, but there are a lot of fairies about. I mean, a LOT. Fairies LOVE summer! Flowers are colourful places to curl up for an afternoon nap, green leaves of an oak or maple are ideal for jumping on, and the sunshine is truly golden bliss for fairies who like to slide down sunbeams.
It can be hard to see them, as they are so tiny and can be invisible to most humans, but look out for those tell-tale signs the fairies have been around: mushrooms growing in the grass, a fairy door that magically appears at the bottom (or top!) of a tree, extra-big and bright flowers, a bit of fairy dust scattered on the garden path, and just that feeling of something wonderful in the air. You know that feeling? Like something really magical is all around, and if you close your eyes, you can let the world in…
Sometimes, fairies even write to those who leave them notes or gifts – and they especially like shiny things, poems, and truth be told, they adore chocolate. ; ) You can even help your child write a note, and ask the fairies some questions: What is their name? Where do they live? What is their favourite colour? Do they know the tooth fairy?
We hope you enjoy exploring the world of fairies with your child!
