In the Fairy Lands, we know and empathize that a nasty case of Dragon Pox has invaded the Human Realm.

With respect to the Covid-19 outbreak, this is a unique and unprecedented time for all, and In the Company of Fairies sends our caring wishes to those affected by the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus.

We are keeping note of Federal and Provincial Health updates, and are following all recommendations. In addition to existing health practises that we currently include at parties and events, which includes following stringent health recommendations for face painting from the Fraser Health Authority (ie, single use sponges, washing and sanitizing brushes in between each use, single-portion use of face paints), we want to make sure we are taking all appropriate precautions to ensure we do as much as possible to mitigate any possible spread of the virus.

As such, we are taking the following steps, effective immediately, until further notice:
1: We will not be doing any events or parties for more than 20 people.
2. Face painting will be done only on arms or hands, not on faces, to help children avoid touching their faces.
3. If a party or event needs to cancel or postpone due to new health recommendations, because someone present may have been exposed to the virus, or for concerns of social distancing, then no fees will be charged.

In addition to these items, we wish to assure you that we are taking precautions to prevent the spread of this virus, including washing and sanitizing hands and all props and surfaces frequently.

As this situation continues to develop we will evaluate often to see if there are additional steps we need to take. If so, those will be communicated here.

We do have gift certificates available for anyone who wishes to lend a hand to In the Company of Fairies through this period, and bring some magic at a future (healthier!) date.
